Bhutan Vedic Tours and Treks
....The Personal Touch"
Bhutan Vedic Tours is not a large corporate travel
agency. It is a modest company that goes about its
business with professional dignity and personal warmth.
Owned and managed by two men who share a genuine passion
for traveling, adventure sports and meeting new people,
we specialize in what we call “the personal touch.”
We do not like to subject our clients to the impersonal,
business-like coldness of corporate bodies. As far as
possible, the two of us try to entertain our guests in
person, which is why we don’t take on more clients than
we and our staff can handle. We believe that personal
involvement helps us understand our guests better and so
helps us serve them better. Besides, we always derive
great pleasure in revealing and sharing the manifold
mysteries of our beautiful and beloved country with
others.
Standard tour packages (see
itineraries) always stand on
offer but the personal touch allows us the flexibility
to alter itineraries or create new ones to suit specific
clientele demands. A guest could, for example, ask to
incorporate a bit of mountain biking or rock climbing
into a cultural tour itinerary. New tours can be
designed with almost any combination of packages; all it
takes is the personal touch.

Robin Joshi, (34), is an adventure sportsman to
the core. Although beginning to show signs of a
burgeoning waistline, Robin is a founding member of
Vertical – Bhutan Climbing Club (The first ever Rock
Climbing Club in Bhutan) and one of a select few
individuals in the country who can climb ice. He is also
an ardent angler and raft paddler whose wife worries
each weekend that he may have fallen off a cliff or been
carried away by a raging river. “The best of Bhutan,” he
claims, “lies above 12,000 feet.” |
